Registration still open for ballet summer intensives

Registration is still open for Next Generation Ballet (NGB) 2012 Summer Intensives.

Current Conservatory students, and those who have already been accepted, are urged to register as soon as possible as slots fill up quickly.

Last year’s inaugural summer intensives were a huge success! We hosted almost 200 students from around the country and the greater Tampa Bay area.

The summer intensives feature guest instructors, including Jeffrey and Lia Cirio, of the Boston Ballet, and a final performance at the Straz Center.

NGB is directed by Peter Stark, who has coached gold medal winners for many International Ballet Competitions, including, most recently, the international award-winning Hannah Bettes.

In only its second year, NGB has become a premier training ground for serious dancers, earning the Outstanding School award at the 2011Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) finals in New York and at the 2012 YAGP regionals in Tampa.

Although the audition tour for NGB’s summer intensives has ended Sunday, we are still accepting video auditions. Prospective local students can also schedule an audition in person at the Patel Conservatory.
